The conference features both graduate and undergraduate research (posters and paper presentations), a keynote speaker, student and faculty awards, and an exciting Psychology Quiz Bowl. We hope you will join us!

Proposal Submissions and Award Nominations
Deadline: April 17, 2026
Proposals for papers and posters are encouraged. Papers and posters may be submitted to a judged or an unjudged category.
Judged papers and posters must be completed research projects (i.e., with data collected/analyzed) presented by students. Winners will receive a monetary award and will be announced at the awards ceremony on the day of the conference.
Judged Paper/Presentation
Submit a 15–20-page paper (APA-formatted) of your completed research. On the day of the conference, you will give a 15-minute presentation (12 minutes for your PowerPoint, 3 minutes for questions) in person. Must be a student presentation. The best presentations/papers will receive a monetary award.
Unjudged Paper/Presentation
On the day of the conference, you will give a 15-minute presentation (12 minutes for your PowerPoint, 3 minutes for questions.)
Judged Poster
Submit a 750-word synopsis of your completed research. On the day of the conference, you will present your poster in person. You must be in the room for the duration of the poster session (1 h 30 min). Must be a student poster and presentation. The best posters will receive a monetary award. Posters should be 36'' x 48''. We will provide easels, poster boards, and push pins.
Unjudged Poster

Award Nominations
Nominate someone who you feel deserves recognition as an outstanding student or teacher. Students may only nominate faculty and faculty may only nominate students.
You may only nominate one teacher/student. Nominees must be currently attending or teaching classes in Oklahoma. The nominee or nominator does not have to be affiliated with any particular group or association but must be an active participant in the field of psychology.
The selection of winners will be made by the officers of the OC Chapter of Psi Chi; therefore, officers of the OC Psi Chi chapter are not eligible to participate in this year’s awards.

Outstanding Teacher
Outstanding Graduate Student
Outstanding Undergraduate Student
Psychology Quiz Bowl

Rules
- One team per university of four students (single elimination).
- A question will appear on the screen; the first team to sound their buzzer within 15 seconds will have the opportunity to answer for 2 pts.
- An incorrect answer will allow the opposing team to answer within an additional 15 seconds.
- If both teams have not given a correct answer before time expires, the buzzers will be reset, and four choices will appear for both teams.
- The first team to sound the buzzer will have the opportunity to answer. A correct answer will be awarded 1 pt.
- An incorrect answer allows the opposing team to answer.
- Team members may confer with each other before their buzzer is sounded.
- After the buzzer has sounded, the team must give an answer immediately.

Primary Conference Location
All conference events except posters will be held in the Davisson American Heritage Building (DAH). DAH is on the north side of campus and within walking distance of the Garvey Building.
