Submissions are now closed.

Proposals for papers and posters are encouraged. All proposals will be submitted through this Google Form. Papers and posters may be submitted to a judged or an unjudged category. Judged papers and posters must be completed research projects (i.e., with data collected/analyzed) and are eligible for monetary prizes. Winners will be announced online following the conference. All proposals must include a 50-word synopsis to be included in the online program as well as any additional materials outlined below.


Please note: conference registration fees are waived for this year's conference, but presenters must pay membership dues to OPS through this link.

Judged Paper/Presentation

Submit a 15-20 page paper (APA-formatted) of your completed research and a 50-word synopsis by April 13th. On the day of the conference, you will give a 15-minute presentation (12 minutes for your PowerPoint, 3 minutes for questions) through zoom. The best presentations/papers will receive a monetary award.

Unjudged Paper/Presentation

Submit a 50-word synopsis by April 13th. On the day of the conference, you will give a 15-minute presentation (12 minutes for your PowerPoint, 3 minutes for questions) through zoom. 

Judged Poster

Submit a 750-word synopsis of your completed research and a 50-word synopsis by April 13th. Email your poster (as a .jpg or .pdf) to oklahomaps.org@gmail.com by April 20th to be included in the program. On the day of the conference, you will present your poster in a Zoom breakout room. You must be "present" in your breakout room for the duration of the poster session (1 hour). The best posters will receive a monetary award.

Unjudged Poster

Submit a 50-word synopsis by April 13th. Email your poster (as a .jpg or .pdf) to oklahomaps.org@gmail.com by April 20th to be included in the program. On the day of the conference, you will present your poster in a Zoom breakout room. You must be "present" in your breakout room for the duration of the poster session (1 hour). 

Award nominations are now closed.

Nominate someone who you feel deserves recognition as an outstanding student or teacher.  Students may only nominate faculty and faculty may only nominate students.  You may only nominate one teacher/student. Nominees must be currently attending or teaching classes in Oklahoma. The nominee or nominator does not have to be affiliated with any particular group or association but must be an active participant in the field of psychology. Nominations may be submitted electronically by filling out this Google Form.


The selection of winners will be made by the officers of the UCO Chapter of Psi Chi; therefore, officers of the UCO Psi Chi chapter are not eligible to participate in this year’s awards. 


Three awards will be presented:

Outstanding Teacher

Outstanding Graduate Student

Outstanding Undergraduate Student
